After moving from Sunnyvale, California to Chicago to attend Loyola University Chicago, I instantly enjoyed living in Chicago. Being here allowed me to join the Chicago City Soccer Club coaching staff and start my coaching career.
Like most, I have been playing soccer all my life, and I have found a true love for the game. I was fortunately surrounded by great coaches and players who have helped shape me into the person I am today. They taught me how to be the best soccer player I can be, but more importantly, they taught me life skills and values that I still carry with me today.
I was lucky enough to play for Santa Clara Sporting, one of the top club teams in the national. With that club, I won several state/ regional titles and numerous high level tournaments. Playing at the highest club level enabled me to travel across the country and play against other elite teams, as well as further my understanding of the sport. However, as much as I love soccer, instead of playing collegiately, I chose to focus on my education and go to Loyola. As of now I am currently studying Biology on the Pre-Med Track, with plans to go to med school in the future. In the meantime, I wanted to do something that I love to do: play soccer and coach.
Although I am relatively new to coaching, I am excited to embark on my coaching career with CCSC and teach the new generation of players the same integral values that were taught to me.
