Hi everyone I’m Katie! Im in my third and final year of my masters program studying sport and human performance at Adler University. I have been a runner for 11 years. I ran cross country and track in high school and currently train for half-marathons and marathons. The mental aspect of sport is so important yet often overlooked. Whether it’s struggling with confidence in one’s self, being able to stay focused on the task at hand needed in ones sport, or to manage ones emotions during difficult situations (just to name a few) mental skills training can be so helpful for those of all ages and skill levels.
